Guardianship Providers
The State seeks to contract with one or more guardianship programs to provide cost effective guardianship services for individuals. Individuals who receive guardianship services (wards) are incapacitated as defined by the Texas Probate Code or the Texas Estates Code (effective January 1, 2014) , are appropriate for and in need of guardianship services, and there is no other individual who is willing, able, or suitable to serve as guardian.
