Guardian Laser Transmitter Assembly Covers

NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft (NAVAIR) Division Lakehurst, NJ on behalf of NAVAIR KC-130J and V-22 Support Equipment Programs has a requirement for Guardian Laser Transmitter Assembly Covers, P/N 3349AS400. The GLTA Covers may be utilized for other aircraft platforms as well. Currently the requirement is for an IDIQ with a minimum of quantity of 30, and a maximum of 120. This requirement is to be manufactured in accordance with the drawing package. The Government is looking for eligible 8(a) companies capable of manufacturing these covers. The Government is willing to provide forms (molds) that can be utilized for the aluminum drawing process.
This RFI does contain a drawing package. This requirement shall meet a set of minimum requirements per drawings. Due to items in the drawing package being export-controlled, all requests for the data shall be in writing and shall contain a certified copy of a DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement. The certified DD Form 2345 and your written request shall be sent to Ms. Frances Marigliano, france.marigliano@navy.mil. Drawings will be provided to all potential vendors who provide a copy of their approved DD Form 2345 within the RFI period.
Rough Order of Magnitude pricing is also requested for planning purposes.
This RFI is intended for 8(a) companies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332313 and the Size Standard is 500 employees.
This notice is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation, nor will the Government be liable for any costs involved for submission of information in response to this notice.
