Groundwater Investigation Drilling Helena Valley Fault Drilling
Work sites will be near Helena, along Applegate Drive, approximately 3.8 miles north of Lincoln Road. Three (3) production wells are planned to be completed. The wells are anticipated to be 300 to 500 feet deep. The wells will be completed in well-lithified fractured shale (Spokane Formation of the Belt Group). Sites will be located on private land. The contractor is responsible for all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete the project. Underground line location is the contractor's responsibility.
The preferred drilling method for this project is air rotary. Bentonite drilling mud, foam, or gel may not be used unless specifically agreed to in advance with the MBMG representative. Any open boreholes, including over-drilled wells, will be filled with either cement or bentonite.
