Groundskeeping/Minor Maintenance
DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa intends to issue a solicitation for Firm-Fixed Priced, non-personal services for labor and materials to support grounds keeping, minor maintenance & facility services. The work shall include the execution of services for DLA activities at Kleber Kaserne, Rhine Ordnance Barracks (ROB) and Sembach bases in Rhineland Pfalz, Deutschland.
A SITE VISIT WILL BE CONDUCTED FOR ALL PROSPECTIVE VENDORS ON WEDNESDAY 13 AUGUST 2014 AT 0900 CEST. VENDORS SHALL CONTACT THE POCs LISTED TO SCHEDULE ATTENDANCE AT THE SITE VISIT. SITE VISIT SHALL BEGIN AND CONCLUDE AT KLEBER KASERNE. SITE VISIT IS EXPECTED TO TAKE NO LONGER THAN THREE HOURS AND WILL INCLUDE VISIT TO ROB, LISTED ABOVE.
The Government intends to make a single firm-fixed price contract award to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). This procurement shall be solicited unrestricted. The resultant contract is expected to have a one-year base period with two one-year option periods. The acquisition is estimated at $75,000.00 per year with a total estimated value of $225,000.00.
This acquisition is being processed under the authority of FAR 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items" and therefore will utilize simplified procedures for soliciting competition, evaluation, and award documentation and notification that comply with FAR 13.1.
