Greening Fire: Onsite Recycling and Waste Management Services on All-Hazard Incidents
This is a pre-solicitation. This pre-solicitation follows the Request for Information Notice, as attached, and issued on Federal Business Opportunities on November 28, 2018. (RFI Number: 12837119-RecycleRFI)
The USDA Forest Service intends to solicit a requirement for onsite recycling and waste management services at local/regional/national all-hazard incidents within the following Geographic Area Coordination Center areas:
Region 3
Southwest Geographic Area Coordination Center (Albuquerque, NM)
Region 5
Northern California Geographic Area Coordination Center (Redding, CA)
Southern California Geographic Area Coordination Center (Ontario, CA)
Region 6
Northwest Geographic Area Coordination Center (Portland, OR)
A Request for Quote shall be issued on or approximately March 12, 2019.
The contractor(s) will be responsible for all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and personnel necessary to meet or exceed the specifications.
The forthcoming solicitation anticipates award of multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) being awarded with a base period of twelve (12) months and two twelve (12) month option periods. The estimated start time is May/June 2019.
The Request for Quote and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and download on Federal Business Opportunities (www.FBO.gov) within the aforementioned time frame.
This acquisition will be solicited under National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562111, Solid Waste Collection Services / Subsector 562 - Waste Management and Remediation Services. The small business size standard is $38.5 million.
Award will be based on a combination of price and other factors to be described in the solicitation.
All prospective vendors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Contractors shall ensure SAM registration is active. SAM registration is always free. The official SAM website is: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
