Greenfield Community College Visual & Performing Arts Center
The proposed Greenfield Community College Visual & Performing Arts Center is envisioned as a large scale multi-use academic/civic building, viewed as both a means to facilitate art and culture and an economic generator for the region. GCC seeks proposals from management consultants and agencies with a background in planning and development of visual and performing arts facilities to assist the College in the creation of a feasibility study to determine:
1.Is there potential for sufficient student and external programming to utilize new facilities?
2.Is there an audience for programs in a new facility?
3.What needs are not currently met by other facilities serving the community and region?
4.What are the broader benefits and impacts a new facility would have on the community and region?
5.What is the optimal size, configuration and location for the facility?
Work on the project will commence upon consultant selection and subsequent execution of a contract. The cost will not exceed $30,000.
