Green River Hwy 55 Water Line Replacement
The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to replace water line from Hwy 55 to Maintenance Shop. The contractor shall be responsible for locating and marking all utilities prior to any excavation. The contractor will install new and/or replace existing valves and connect to new water line at existing spurs and disconnects.
The contractor will install the new water line 4 inches below the depth of the local frost line. Upon completion of new waterline installation, the Contractor shall perform a pressure test on the entire system to ensure no leakage and make any necessary repairs if needed at no additional cost to the government.
All contractor and all associated sub-contractors employees shall comply with applicable installation, facility and area commander installation/facility access and local security policies and procedures (provided by government representative). All work will be conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations to include the United States Corps of Engineers safety manual EM385-1-1.
Construction work may be conducted between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. EDT, Monday through Friday. No work shall be performed on Saturday or Sunday or on federally observed holidays, i.e., Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day unless approved by the Corps Park Manager.
