Green Infrastructure Planning Project �" Request for Proposals
The selected consultant will assist the Organization with the completion of stormwater retrofit scoping for each
participating municipality. Specifically, the consultant’s work will focus on site evaluation and inventory
completion. The site evaluation process will be comprised of a rapid field assessment of potential storage
and on-site retrofit sites that are located within pre-determined study areas. The purpose of the evaluation
process is to generate and verify the feasibility of candidate green infrastructure sites and to produce
information to support initial concept designs. This process will require a careful assessment of sitespecific
information to determine if a retrofit will actually work at the proposed location. Public lands
will be the target of these investigations and municipal staff and G/FLRPC will provide significant
planning and support, including public outreach, the identification of candidate sites, desktop analysis and
any other inventory, ranking and evaluation tasks deemed necessary or appropriate.
