Graphic Design Artist for Small Mailing Campaign
The Church of the Redeemer is looking for a freelance graphic designer to aid in creating a new logo/look for our 2009 Stewardship Campaign. We would prefer someone who has experience working with churches, and if youve worked on logos for stewardship, that would be fantastic!
We are looking for a logo that can be used online, on letterhead/envelopes, posters, inserts, bulletins, etc.
Our initial thoughts on a theme include seeing through the eyes of the Lord, and growth through being a member of Christian community. We may like to incorporate elements of one of our existing images, the outline of our building, into a new stewardship logo. We are also thinking about gardening themes and oak trees. We are a very old and esteemed congregation in Chestnut Hill, Mass. and are looking for an elegant image.
Designers would be in contact with two stewardship committee heads and one administrative staff member regarding design, rounds of edits, etc.
Designers must be available to start immediately upon negotiation of a contract, although, FYI, our approval process for freelance work like this can be slow because of our community leadership structure.
We expect this logo project to be a small, quick project with a skilled designer. Depending on how the logo turns out, we may have more work for you on other parts of the campaign or other projects.
