Graphic & Signage Development Services
Metro is requesting graphic design services on an as-needed basis for signage development. The selected firm will be required to provide the following types of services, as an extension of the Agency staff:
a) Provide signage design for new and existing transit facilities using the existing signage standards and components.
b) Develop new signage design concepts for new and existing facilities.
c) Develop and maintain Metros Signs of the System or its equivalent.
d) Provide cost estimates at various levels of design.
e) Assist Agency with writing scopes of service descriptions for signage projects.
f) Prepare contract documents for signage fabrication and installation.
g) Provide construction phase services including:
1. Periodic on-site observation of signage fabrication and installation, including reports documeting site visits.
2. Submittal review.
3. Preliminary and final punch-lists.
4. Final closeout prior to occupancy.
h) Provide renderings, sketches and other documentation for public meetings.
i) Analyze signage systems for ADA compliance.
