Grant writers
The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS)is compiling a list of grant writers who could potentially assist in developing and writing an IDHS application in response to Federal or Foundation guidance.
IDHS receives grant funding for various programs. Usually the programs are funded by federal grants, but other funding streams, e.g., foundations, may also fund these programs. IDHS requires the services of professional, independent grant writers to develop and write a variety of grant application types for IDHS programs and administration. When IDHS develops a new, competitive federal (or foundation) grant proposal, the grant writer will be expected to develop and write all or part of the proposal in collaboration with IDHS staff. The contract specifics and deliverables will vary depending upon the needs of IDHS and the requirements of the federal (or foundation) guidance.
