GradeSpeed Online Teach Gradebook, Parent Portal and Text Messaging Module
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Pearson, Schoolnet, Inc., 525 Seventh Avenue, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10018, for the continued use of the GradeSpeed online teacher gradebook, parent portal and text messaging module. The period of performance is one 12-month base period followed by up to two 6-month option periods. This is a continuation of DoDEA's current contract for these items, which are configured to work with DoDEA's current Student Information System (SIS). DoDEA expects to implement a new SIS, which will include integrated gradebook, parent portal and text messaging functionality and modules as part of the system. Until this new SIS is in place, DoDEA requires continuity of its current Gradespeed products to bridge the gap between the current and new SIS. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement by the response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
