Government Intent for Redstone Arsenal
The purpose of this ad is to replace the original ad (8AL2186). This is a notice of intent for the General Services Administration to solicit space for the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, AL. The U.S. Government is seeking multi use office space on Redstone Arsenal consisting of approximately 39,767 rentable square feet to yield a minimum of 34,580 ANSI/BOMA useable square feet of office and related space to include 200 surface parking spaces for GOVs. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space on Redstone Arsenal and intends to negotiate a lease for a location on Redstone Arsenal due to the ability to utilize existing resource and security improvements already in place. There is also the economic benefit (i.e., of using shared IT technology, and the cost saving in relocation/moving of personal property, telecommunication relocation, disruption, and tenant improvement costs) which are not expected to be recovered through full and open competition.
REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning, and required Tenant Alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM: The space is required no later than 30 January 2020 for 10 years, 5 years firm, with the government having cancelation privileges after 5 years.
