The U.S. Forest Service, Region 6, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest has a requirement for the Gold Beach Ranger Station Water System Improvements, Gold Beach Ranger District, Curry County, Oregon. The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary for accomplishing water system improvements at the Gold Beach Ranger Station. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition of existing features, the replacement of distribution lines and all other necessary water system appurtenances, to eliminate leaks and provide a functional drinking water system that meets current codes and building standards for the state of Oregon.

Project Location: Gold Beach Ranger Station is located in Curry County, Oregon, in the south coastal town of Gold Beach, Oregon, on US Hwy 101. The address is 29279 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach, OR 97444.


The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid bond (20%) will be required with offers, and a payment bond (100 percent) and performance bond (100 percent ) will be required after award. Contract performance time is estimated to begin May 15, 2017 with project ready for use 90 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION contact Eric Grim at 541.618.2065.


Full solicitation is expected to be uploaded to FBO on or around November 2, 2017.


This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Preferred Program (FB4P).
