Global lPositioning System (GPS) Message Router without GPS (GMR-100), GPS Message Router with GPS (GMR-500), Electronic Data Manager Spiral 3.5 (EDM)
The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to add the following sole-source National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for production and/or repair onto the already established contract with Raytheon Company, SPRBL1-15-D-0017. Market research suggests that Raytheon is the sole approved source capable of providing and repairing these three (3) source restricted (AMSC C) or code and part number (AMSC D) NSNs.
SPRBL1-15-D-0017 is a nine (9) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing for the support of Depot Level Repairable (DLR) and consumable spare parts as well as repair and engineering services provided by Raytheon that are associated with sole-source Raytheon-manufactured system components. The contract was awarded on September 28, 2015. The period of performance includes a six (6) year base period followed by one (1), three (3) Year re-determinable option period. The contract maximum ceiling is $495.6M. The NSNs described below will be priced for the remainder of the base period and may be priced via redetermination for the option period, if it is deemed to be in the Government's best interest.
The products and services described herein are products which the Government has determined to be acceptable for add-on to contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017.
1. Global Positioning System (GPS) Message Router without GPS (GMR-100): NSN 5895-01-591-3922, P/N 813HN0100 (Production and Repair);
2. GPS Message Router with GPS (GMR-500): NSN 5895-01-591-9449, P/N 813HN500 (Production and Repair);
3. Electronic Data Manager Spiral 3.5 (EDM): NSN 7022-01-535-8774, P/N 659HN1350 (Repair Only).
This synopsis represents the intent of the Government to release a sole-source solicitation for the production and repair (as noted) of the above NSNs to Raytheon Company (CAGE Code 49956). Only the source previously approved by the Government for supply and repair of these items will be solicited.
