Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. VHA Reginal Procurement Office (RPO) 2 is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Glass Marker Boards. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 339940. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and must be received no later than October 25th, 2019 @ 3PM EST.

Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic.

Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement.

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 339940. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.

Glass Marker Boards

Background:
Patient boards help bridge the communication gap between the patient and care team that often reduces the quality of patient satisfaction and care.B Patient satisfaction is largely dependent upon how well hospital staff communicates with them.B Patients often feel doctors and nurses are lax in explaining things, such as their care plan, medication schedule and procedure dates in a satisfactory manner.B By placing a patient board in the hospital room, nursing staff will have a way to write down important information that needs to be communicated to their patients.
Scope:
The VAMC would like to purchase sixty-five (65) 24 x32 vertical, fully-changeable glass patient boards with American flag background.

Custom selected graphics on changeable insert
Insert options on both sides
Easy to clean (non-staining/non-ghosting surface)
Resists bacterial growth
Safe for all disinfectants

Period of Performance:
Order shall be delivered no later than 8 weeks after award of contract.
Northport VAMC shall coordinate with Contractor to install boards upon receipt.
