This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for security improvements for the Gifford Pinchot NF Head Quarters Building #404.
This contract is for work related to security improvements at and around building 404 of the Vancouver Forest Headquarters Office. Work includes; removal and disposal of old fence, card reader, and a small tree; furnish and installation of new fence; furnish and installation of a new vehicular and pedestrian gate; furnish and installation of an electronic gate opening system with loops for the vehicular gate; installation of three access points with card reader and punch code capabilities; connection of installed items to existing power, data, and proprietary access control systems; furnish and installation of additional components related to operation of the installed systems.
Optional work items include furnish and installation of two security lights, including one on a post near the vehicular entrance, and another on the side of building 404; furnish and installation of an external security camera; furnish and installation of a safety edge contact sensor at middle of new vehicular gate; and furnishing, and setup of a new laptop computer operating Microsoft Windows and security camera recording and monitoring software for a minimum of eight cameras, including the 5 existing at building 404 already and the optional item C for a camera in this contract if it is awarded. There is also an optional item to reduce the cost of the contract by re-using the existing vehicular gate with new hinges.
The Government's estimated price for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is 100% set aside for Small Business.
