The Department of the Air Force 482nd Contracting Office at Homestead Air Reserve Base, FL intends to contract for a vendor to replace our antiquated and aging Giant Voice infrastructure as the existing hardware infrastructure is degraded and provides poor/limited Giant Voice (GV) notification. This project shall be performed as a turn-key project for the 482nd Communications Squadron.  Homestead ARB currently has seven (7) existing Whelen outdoor omni-directional siren speakers.  The current GV components have degraded due to age and the upgraded wireless components have created a non-standardized system configuration.  The existing concrete poles are in good condition and can be reused.  The requirement will replace the current GV system equipment which communicates via two-way radio frequency communication infrastructure.  Please review the attached Statement of Objective.

This contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.
