Geospatial Data Management Assessment and Strategic Plan
Navarro Research & Engineering, Inc. is the Legacy Management Support Contractor to the Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management.
The Office of Legacy Management (LM) is responsible for ensuring that DOE's post-closure responsibilities at legacy World War II and the Cold War sites are met. These legacy sites include radioactive and chemical waste, environmental contamination, and hazardous materials. The LM program provides for long-term surveillance and maintenance, sample and data management, records management, work force restructuring and benefits continuity, property management, land use planning, and community assistance associated with the legacy sites.
The scope of work for this project is to assess and document the current state of the GIS, CAD, and survey data management processes; including recommendations for improvement of the current work processes. In addition the subcontractor shall develop a long-term strategy for integrating GIS/CAD work processes into other business practices under the DOE-LM program and operations work scope.
