General Purpose Railway Flatcar
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number DTRT5715Q80013 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation is being conducted IAW FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and pursuant to FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is being conducted using full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336510, Railroad Rolling Stock Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-77.
