The Lee County Port Authority is requesting Letters of Qualifications from interested firms to provide General Planning and Environmental Services under a continuing contract in conjunction with the operation, maintenance and development of the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Page Field General Aviation Airport (FMY) in Lee County, Florida. The services provided under this contract are not considered "Professional Services" as defined by Section 287.055 Florida Statutes (architecture, professional engineering, landscape architecture, registered surveying and mapping). The services provided under this contract are considered "Other Professional Services" as defined in the Board adopted Authority Purchasing Policies.
A broad range of professional disciplines, analysis and expertise is expected to be needed during the term of this professional services agreement. The specific number and mix of disciplines needed is unknown at this time. Therefore, the Authority expects that subconsultants will be recommended by the selected Consultant and subcontracted with after award of this prime contract. The Port Authority will have the right to reject any individual or subconsultant firm. As such, subconsultant information will not be considered during the evaluation of the LOQ responses submitted. This LOQ request is made for General Planning and Environmental Services to address project specific items on an ongoing and continuing basis.
