General Construction
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center intends to award a single source contract in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) 3.2.2.4 to Turtle Associates LLC of Swedesboro, NJ, in support of the Technical Center's General Construction. This award is a follow-on contract which shall not exceed $9,500,000 over a period of performance of 5 years.
13 C.F.R 124.506(b) authorizes the award to a Native American Tribe on a sole source basis where the amount is in excess of the competitive threshold. This statutory (regulatory) authority is recognized in the Acquisition Management System AMS at Section 3.6.1.3.5
Turtle Associates LLC is an SBA recognized 8(a) vendor and is officially recognized as a Tribally owned corporation and as such eligible for extended consideration under 13CFR 124.109.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
