Cumberland County, TN is soliciting for bids for the construction of a new visitors center located near the Exit 320 off of Interstate 40 in Crossville, TN.
The project is approximately 3,300 SqFt and includes a main hall, public restrooms, gift shop, a theater and support spaces. The structure is a mix of heavy timber framing and conventional wood framing. Bid documents can be ordered thru the Architect.

A Prime Contractor must pre-qualify with the Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 54-5-117 of the Tennessee Code Annotated and Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680-5-3 prequalification of contractors or be on the permanent register of qualified bidders for the State of Tennessee Department of General Services before biddable proposals will be furnished.
Cumberland County hereby notifies all bidders that a 15% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal has been set for this project and must be met or exceeded. All DBE firms must be TNUCP certified a listing of these firms can be found on TDOT's Small Business Development website and pre-qualified by the TDOT Construction Division as stated in the Local Government Guidelines Manual.
