Gastrointestinal & Urological Endoscope Leases with Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services for Danville, IL VA Medical Center
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Illiana Health Care System Medical Center located in Danville, IL intends to solicit quotes for the leasing of various gastrointestinal and urological endoscopes. In addition to the leasing of endoscopes, the VA will be requesting preventative maintenance and repair services for those endoscopes for the duration of the leases. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the Request for Quotes (RFQ). The RFQ number will be VA251-14-Q-0316.
The RFQ will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 532490 - Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental & Leasing and the small business size standard is $30 million. This procurement will be full & open competition in accordance with FAR Parts 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
Telephone requests for the RFQ will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. At this time the anticipated release date of the RFQ is August 1, 2014 with an estimated close date of August 8, 2014. Interested offerors are advised to consult the RFQ for final dates and times.
