Gastroenterology Physician Services
This is PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The US Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, hereinafter referred to as MVAHCS located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $11 million. The VA will award a firm, fixed price, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to Minneapolis VA Health Care System only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 6-month base period contract, with one (1) 6-month option period to renew. Service will begin November 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020 for the base period. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about September 4, 2019 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
The Contractor s physician (s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property.
All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor s physician (s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
Board Certification
Contractor s physician (s) shall be Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Gastroenterology and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by American Heart Association. All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times. Documentation verifying current certification shall be provided by the Contractor to the VA COR on an annual basis for each year of contract performance.
Contractor shall furnish services at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417.
