Gas Turbine trainer unit for NA&ME and Mech Engineering classes in Power Lab at the US Coast Guard Academy. Fully operational stand-alone Gas Turbine trainer coupled to either a power turbine or electric alternator. Turbine must be instrumented to detect, measure and sense speed, temperatures, pressures and mass flow rates in each phase of the Brayton cycle. The ability to measure shaft power, SFC, turbine characteristics and system efficiency is also required.
