The General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Services, Personal Property Division, Sales Branch seeks potential sources/offerors that can provide precious metal brokerage services. Precious metals are defined as is a rare, naturally occurring metallic chemical element of high economic value. Areas of focus include promotion, pricing, preparation, and presentation.
GSA is seeking sources that can provide the following, but not limited to:
Effective marketing strategies/analysis for the sale of precious metals
Appropriate marketing/promotion mediums for the sale of precious metals
Assist with determining the appropriate amount of time to advertise/market an precious metals (please note that the amount of time could be as less as seven (7) days to advertise/market)
Increase public awareness and business volume (individual, company/industry, local/state/federal government) of precious metals required to be sold
Recommend reserve prices and bid increments
Research the appropriate appraisal and evaluation services for a precious metals sale
Any other brokerage services that could increase bid prices and the number of buyers
Assist with inspections during site visits

All potential interested sources/offerors to this sources sought synopsis are required to submit their Capabilities Statement (do not exceed 5 pages) indicating the level of interest, capability, and the brokerage size standard (i.e. small business, women-owned, HUBZONE, etc).
