GREEN ENERGY PARK POTENTIAL SITE LOCATIONS IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA
To identify those sites in Floridas Great Northwests 16-county region that have the potential to meet the size, geography, physical infrastructure, and proximity to biomass feedstock requirements to allow the sites to be developed as Green Energy Business Parks.
Floridas Great Northwest is seeking to identify the approximately 1,000 acres sites in Northwest Florida that have the infrastructure (or the majority of the infrastructure) in place as well as adequate timber biomass within a 50 mile radius of the site to support major projects that would convert biomass to some form of renewable energy. Floridas Great Northwest will analyze the sites and their location compared to the other potential sites identified in the region to select one (1) to four (4) sites to use as a demonstration project to test the viability of the Green Energy Business Park concept.
