GRAPHIC DESIGN, WRITING, ART/PHOTOS AND FABRICATION FOR INTERPRETIVE EXHIBITS AND SUPPLEMENTAL MEDIA

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract for the development of indoor/outdoor interpretive exhibits for Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Exhibits shall target a public audience and focus on Native American cultural resource stories. Work includes planning, design, writing, fabrication of replica items, original graphics or photographs, and fabrication of indoor/outdoor exhibits as well as accompanying media such as brochures, tabletop displays or other creative media items designed to replicate the same stories and messages as larger exhibits. The solicitation number is L16PS01260 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541430 with a small business size standard of $7.5M. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit proposals. The contractor shall complete the contract 25 weeks after beginning the work. The Government intends to make an award to the responsible offer whose quote represents the best value to the Government using the trade-off process.
