GPS Offender Monitoring

Department of Corrections is requesting proposals for a Global Positioning Tracking System (GPS). The Global Positioning Tracking System will be utilized to provide 24-hour, 7-day per week monitoring of high risk offenders for the purpose of providing increased supervision and offender accountability.

The Department of Corrections is currently utilizing a one piece GPS unit on approximately 180 high risk offenders being supervised throughout the state of Kansas and anticipates maintaining that number.
