GMM Turret Stand and GMM Weathershield Stand
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions.
The requirement is for the following:
Quantity 2 Each MK46 Gun Turret Maintenance Stands LCS Mission Package Support Facility and Quantity 20 Each GMM Weathershield Stands LCS Mission Package Support Facility
Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332710. NAICS size standard is 500 Employees.
This order is FOB Destination, and transportation and shipping must be in accordance with the shipping instructions provided within the solicitation, attached to this synopsis.
Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsive and responsible offeror. The anticipated award date is 06-03-2014. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM PST on May 27, 2014. Proposals shall be sent via email to [email protected].
To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov.
All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted on FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this synopsis/solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the point of contact (POC) at NSWC PHD.
