The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for sources of the following.

STATEMENT OF WORK/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

1. Overview: Seattle VAMC requires Prospective contractors to provide the following Cavallo s.r.l Glassware Drying Oven big capacity Model 3671Ap. Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal.

1. 1 EA Glassware Drying Oven big capacity Model 3671Ap



2. Objective: Our objective is to provide Seattle VAMC with necessary equipment to provide the best care for our veterans.


3. Salient Characteristics

The Government requires the following characteristics to be met:
1) A glassware dryer oven with near-to but not exceeding the following external dimension: (wxdxh cm.) 130x83x227
2) A glassware dryer oven with a digital recorder of the temperature protocol
3) A glassware dryer oven capable of accommodating scientific glassware
4) Temperature range: ambient +5B0C up to 150B0C
5) External structure comparable to: painted steel plate with acid-proof and rust-proof ground Internal chamber in stainless steel as per AISI 304
6) Suggested: Front door with 2 shutters, with interior surface in stainless steel and exterior
in painted steel. Silicon rubber gasket.
7) Fan-forced air circulation via centrifugal fan
8) Outlet for the saturated air through a hole/port positioned on top
9) Heating through stainless steel sheathed resistors
10) Thermo-insulation through thick rock wool panels
11) Internal shelves in stainless steel
12) Digital thermostat with microprocessor allowing auto-tuning control
13) Safety thermostat with visual alarm
14) Digital timer for cycle setting with end of cycle lamp
15) Timer switch
This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis.

Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Responses are due by 10/24/2017 1:00 pm EST.

In accordance with FAR and VAAR Part 8 and/or 13, this notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, 19 Jan
2017. The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112. Business
Size Standard is 1000 Employees.
