GEX Messaging and Data Transformation Support
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Transaction Services continues to support spiral enhancements and ongoing sustainment activities of the Global Exchange Services (GEX) which supports the overall Department of Defense (DoD) initiative to provide a common set of tools and services to implement Electronic Commerce (EC) throughout the DoD. GEX is an integration of multiple COTS software packages that provide messaging and mediation services primarily to the Business Mission Area in DoD.
The primary objective is to obtain contractor support in sustaining and improving the GEX capability to conduct data integration supporting Electronic Business/Electronic Commerce (EB/EC) within the DoD. This includes necessary technical support to DLA Transaction Services and DISA Computing Services Directorate. Additionally this award will support program specific GEX map development and associated testing of new integrations.
