GENERAL PERMITTING SYSTEMS SOFTWARE
The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County desires to solicit competitive proposals from responsible vendors to provide a GIS-Based Permits and Development Management Software to support the Development Review processes that assure that proposed development plans adhere to local, state and federal requirements and that citizens are protected from environmental or public safety hazards. The chosen software will increase the coordination between Plans Review Departments (Building Inspection, Planning, Public Works, Public Utilities, Fire Department and Solid Waste), will improve the accuracy and speed of the review of plans and permit requests, provide support documentation for review decisions, and increase efficiencies in researching property history and ordinance violations for the Building Inspection, Planning and Public Works Department, Athens, Georgia.
