GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for constructing a directional drill of 20-inch H.D.P.E. (S.D.R. 11) pipe along the Rickenbacker Intracoastal Waterway Bridge (Bay Bridge) from Sta. 152+62+/- to Sta. 190+ 28+/-, furnishing and installing approximately 3800 feet of 20-inch diameter SDR 11 HDPE and fittings; furnishing and installing approximately 70 feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipe; making two connections to a 16-inch water main installed by Department under Phase I, cleaning, testing and disinfecting the installed mains including the water main installed by the Department (Phase I and Phase II are approximately 4681 feet of pipe); traffic control; removal and disposal of existing 12-inch ductile iron water main attached to the Rickenbacker Causeway Bridge after 20-inch HDPE (SDR 11) is in service; and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete, functional and satisfactory installation of the project located in, Section 13/18, Township 54S Range 41/42E, City of Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida. 10% DBE GOAL REQUIRED, COMPLIANCE WITH THE DAVIS BACON ACT WAGE RATE PROVISIONS AND THE BUY AMERICAN REQUIREMENTS, AMERICAN RECOVERY AND RESTORATION ACT OF 2009, THIS IS A TWO ENVELOPE PROCESS ONE CONTAINING THE BID AND ONE CONTAINING THE FORM 400 SUB CONTRACTOR FORM. THE BID MUST INCLUDE A 5 PERCENT BID BOND.
