GEAR UP Evaluation
The State is seeking proposals to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the Texas Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) The purpose of this evaluation is to better understand the strategies Texas GEAR UP grantees use to meet the goals of the program and how program components and participation levels link to program outcomes. This evaluation will also include an investigation of the impact of the GEAR UP program on students, parents, and school-level personnel as well as an examination of the cost and sustainability of the program over time.
