Further Development and Operation of a Sound Recording and Audiovisual Work Identification and Metadata Exchange System

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the RFP is to develop a centralized system to enable Members to more efficiently and accurately identify Recordings and Works, exchange Performer Lineups and Performer and Producer Mandate Information necessary to properly run distributions locally and maximize the flow of royalties exchanged between member societies. SCAPR Members from around the globe will participate in the system.
SCOPE OF THE WORK
Respondents will indicate their ability to deliver the following scope of work:
- Software development to deliver a fully operational system;
- Hosting, ongoing system maintenance and technical support for a minimum of 3 years following launch of the system;
- Ongoing user support, i.e., Help Desk services, available hours per day, 5 days per week for the minimum 3 year period following launch;
- Providing access and utilization of VRDB 2 as a global system.
PROJECT DELIVERABLE
The project deliverable is a fully operational system that meets the business, functional and technical requirements as specified in this document, and that is hosted and maintained by the supplier for a minimum period of 3 years following delivery of the system. The system will provide the intended utility for SCAPR Members worldwide
