Furnish, Deliver and Install Telecommunications Structured Cabling Systems
The successful vendor will:
A. Furnish all tools, materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the work indicated on the
drawings or herein specified.
B. Outside plant and building service cabling shall be by others.
C. Major work included in Division 27 shall be:
1. Furnish and install a complete system of face plates, jacks, punch-down blocks, and cables for
the telephone system.
2. Furnish and install a complete system of face plates, jacks, Category 5e cables,
data/telecommunications equipment racks, and Cat 5e patch panels for the Data System.
3. Furnish and install a complete system of face plates, outlets, RG6 cables, and closet terminations
for the cable TV (CATV) system.
D. Coordinate the layout of Data/Telecommunications cable tray, conduits, and outlets with the installer.
E. Procure and pay for permits and certifications as required by local and state ordinances.
F. Visit the site and determine conditions that affect this contract. Failure to do so will in no way relieve
the Contractor of his responsibility under his contract
