Fund Supports Women's Organizations - Maine only
Applications are now being accepted for the Economic Security Initiative at the Maine Women's Fund. Through the Initiative, eligible nonprofit organizations throughout Maine can apply for grants that range between $1,000 and $10,000. The Fund supports organizations that are committed to women's equality and to engaging in and quantifying the outcomes of social change work necessary to advance women's economic security. Priority is given to programs that further efforts to improve economic security by investing in education, entrepreneurship, better jobs and wages, asset building, financial literacy, and public policy, with an emphasis on those efforts that bring change to hard-to-reach populations, on collaborations among organizations, and on innovation.
