The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) located in San Antonio, Texas 78240 has a requirement to inspect and certify all laboratory hoods, cabinets and isolators. Primary place of performance is the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, 1901 S. 1st Street Temple, Texas 76504.The Period of Performance is anticipated to be one (1) year from date of contract award, with four (4) option periods if advantageous to the government.
The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible Offeror whose proposal constitutes the best value to the government using procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. This acquisition will be is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541620 with a small business size standard of $15 Million
All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation number is VA257-15-Q-0253. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about the week of November 25, 2014.
