Synopsis:
Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only.B The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peter VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing a Full Service and Maintenance contract on 26 Phoenix Dialysis located at the New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHCS), Brooklyn campus, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209.
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, material, parts, repair services, preventive maintenance, maintenance support, software upgrades and 24 telephone support as required by the NYHCS. The contractor shall schedule maintenance visits in cooperation with the NYHCS customer at mutually convenient times and places during normal working hours (8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. local time Monday - Friday, except holidays). Preventive Maintenance (PM) shall mutually schedule in advance and conducted as per Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications. PM procedures subscribed to must follow manufacturer's specifications be documented and submitted in writing to biomedical engineering. PM shall include at a minimum: electrical safety testing, lubrication, adjustment, calibration, testing and replacement of faulty parts and/or parts which are likely to fail at no additional charge. Upon completion of PM, the unit must be clearly labeled with a sticker stating the date last PM was completed and the due date of next PM, as well as name of technician that performed said PM. The contractor qualified technician should have a minimum of two (2) years experience, must be certified to work on the Phoenix Dialysis units and must provide license and certification when responding to this source sought notice.
The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the standard size is $20.5 million.B The Product Service Code (PSC) is J065 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies).B All responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email: charnell.cunningham@va.gov) and must be received not later than July 6, 2017 at 10:00AM EST.B Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact, license/certification and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement.
The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811219. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
