Full Line of Grade US#1 or Better Fresh Fruits & Vegetables (FF&V) for Department of Defense (DoD) Ships Customers, Oahu, in the State of Hawaii
The Government intends to issue a solicitation for full line fresh fruit and vegetable (FF&V) US #1 or better support for Department of Defense (DoD) Ships Customers, Oahu, in the State of Hawaii. The solicitation will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside (NAICS Code 311991/size standard 500). The resultant contract will be a Single Award Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), Fixed Price with an Economic Price Adjustment based on cost of supplies/materials. The resultant contract will be for 4.5 years. It contains one (1) eighteen month (18 month) base period plus two (2) eighteen (18) month option periods. The acquisition method is low price/technically acceptable (LPTA). The total contract dollar value estimate is $9,000,000.00, not to exceed 200% ($18,000,000.00) of the estimate. The guaranteed minimum contract dollar value is $250,000.00 and is for the base period only (10% of the 18-month estimate). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about July 30, 2014 with a bidding period of 30 days.
