This Sources Sought notice is a request for information to be used for preliminary market research and planning purposes only. The Government is seeking responses from contractors interested and capable of performing the required services. No proposals are being requested or accepted. This is NOT a solicitation and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of interested parties including Small Business (SB); 8A; Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone); Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB); and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).

The USDA, Forest Service Western Montana Acquisition Zone, expects to solicit for Gas (premium unleaded, ethanol free) and Diesel (red dye) Fuel Truck & Driver. Services would provide fuel in the fall, Sep- Nov, for a Base and One Option Year upon award for approximately 9 prescribed burns under the Flathead National Forest in Montana.

In order to determine the extent of industry interest and capability, interested parties must submit by mail to, Attn: Theresa Peterson 24 Fort Missoula Rd. Missoula, MT 59804 or email tpeterson@fs.fed.us. Responses are due by 15 May 2019/ 1000 MST. The responses shall include:

1) Name of Firm, Point of Contact, Mailing Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS number.
2) Identification of the appropriate small business eligibility as determined by the NAICS size standards, the Small Business Administration and registration in System for Award Management (SAM), including SB, HUBZone, 8A, SDVOB and WOSB.
3) A brief description of experience providing this type of services including dollar value of previous work performed within the past three years.

Prospective awardees Must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a Federal Contract. Authority for this procurement is FAR 13.106(b) for purchases not exceeding simplified acquisition threshold.
