This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and there is no solicitation package available and no contract will be awarded as a result of this request.

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) is seeking information from industry regarding a Fuel Quantity Test Set, similar to the TTU-597/E Fuel Control Test Set, P/N BC849A6010-000. The Fuel Quantity Test Set would be required to be approved for shipboard use. The Fuel Quantity Test Set is used to test the fuel quantity probes and indicators of various Navy and Marine Corps aircraft by measuring the capacitance of the fuel probes under known fuel levels and simulating capacitances into the fuel quantity gages and verifying correct indicated fuel levels. The current test set supports P-3, H-60, E-2/C-2, EA-6B, H-1N/W, H-53E, T-45A/C, E-6B, P-8, C-130, V-22, VH-92 aircraft and LOX indicators. The NAWCADLKE is seeking the following information from industry regarding a fuel quantity test set:
1) General description of your Fuel Quantity Test Set.
2) Documentation demonstrating that the Fuel Quantity Test Set has been approved for shipboard use by the United States Navy.
3) Provide a copy of the Fuel Quantity Test Set user operating manual and Maintenance Manual.
4) Describe environmental testing test methods and results that your Fuel Quantity Test Set has been subjected to.
5) Describe the size and weight of your Fuel Quantity Test Set. Provide a list of consumables used by your Fuel Quantity Test Set.


6) If applicable, provide customer testimonials with references. Provide your point(s) of contact.
7) Provide information about your company / organization including: Brief description of your company / organization; Small / large business, 8A, hub-zone, veteran owned status; any past or present Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) awards related to your Fuel Quantity Test Set.
8) Provide commercial pamphlets or any additional information you desire.
It is requested that responses to this RFI be submitted via email to Dorri Petterson at dorri.petterson@navy.mil, or Alan McCarty at alan.mccarty@navy.mil, no later than 30 days from the date of this posting. The Government may or may not elect not to discuss submissions received in response to this RFI with individual responders. There is no requirement to respond to the RFI however, the Government places tremendous value on the information received and may utilize the information to finalize its acquisition strategy. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e) responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract/agreement. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the review. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME.
