The website will consist of a community of users in the fiber community - knitters, crocheters, spinners, designers, dyers, etc. Each user has access to a series of databases, including patterns, yarns, fiber and
needles, that they can use to create a project. The project can be used to link these different databases, e.g., if a user creates a project using a specific yarn, another user can then view all other projects using
that yarn. Patterns, yarns, needles, etc can be uploaded into the databases, linking users' photos as an example for other users to see when viewing the detail pages of these items.

The site will be used by those in the fiber industry as a place to advertise wares and services, gauge market trends, offer technical advice, inform fiber artists of industry events, etc.

The latest browser versions will be supported. Internet Explorer 6 will be partly supported but users will be encouraged to upgrade for optimum site experience (see http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/
