Freezer Mold Removal / Remediaton
There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site assessment at 10:00 A.M. on June 22, 2010.
All bidders must have a minimum 3 years experience as Certified Mold Remediator. Certification papers from a nationally known independent organization must be furnished to the owner.
It should be noted that damp and moldy in-place construction materials were observed throughout the interior portions of both bays. In our opinion, the damp and moldy in-place construction materials are likely due to the following:
Long term roof leak
Elevated humidity conditions (above 65 percent) are present.
Based on our observations and direct moisture measurements, it is our opinion that the water staining/damage and microbial growth observed on drywall and metal siding are likely related to water intrusion via the roof leak. Therefore it is our opinion mold remediation would be warranted.
