The Southwest Region (AZ and NM) of the USDA Forest Service intends to achieve landscape-scale forest restoration through the award of one or more Multiple-Award, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Integrated Resource Service Contract(s) (IRSC) with Options, Multi-year task orders with Economic Price Adjustment and Rate Redetermination for mechanical forest restoration services across northern and central Arizona.

Award(s) will be made under the authorities of Section. 8205. STEWARDSHIP END RESULT CONTRACTING PROJECTS.-Title VI of the Healthy Forests Restoration Act of 2003 (16 U.S.C. 6591) (as amended by section 8204, further amended by the 2018 Omnibus Bill). The objective of this project is to create forests that are resilient and more closely represent their natural range of variation. The desired outcome is a multi-storied forest made up of fewer trees per acre, and openings, or interspace between groups of trees.
