Foster and Adoptive Parent Recruitment/Training
Under the scope of work covered in the contract, the Contractor shall provide Foster Parent, Deciding Together and Specialized training for persons responsible for the provision of care to children in the custody of the Secretary and in out of home placement. Prospective foster and adoptive parents are required to complete Foster Parent or Deciding Together training prior to accepting a child in custody into their home. In addition, foster parents are required to complete additional training each year to maintain their foster parent license.
