This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction).

Project Description: the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Lee is seeking sources for a $100M Job Order Contract (JOC) for Construction. The period of performance is expected to be a maximum of 5 years (base ordering period of 1 year and 4 optional one year ordering periods). The contractor must have constructional experience in all disciplines and have available bonding capability with verification from Securities or Bonding Company. Task orders are anticipated to be in the $2,000 to $4,500,000 range.
NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. A DRAFT statement of work is provided for reference. Contractors should also submit the following found in Attachment 1: a brief narrative for Technical Experience demonstrating their experience in managing multiple construction projects at one time. Management Approach - Contractors shall submit an organization chart with planning software type used to explain the organizational structure. Staffing Plan - Contractors shall include a brief explanation of the management structure, design, architectural, engineering and estimating services. Bonding Capacity - Contractors will show their bonding capacity up to $4.5M per task order. Available bonding capacity showing a minimum of $20M aggregate. Information requested in this paragraph shall not exceed a total of ten (10) pages.
