Fort Bragg Refuse and Recycle Services
The Department of Public Works - Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a need to procure refuse collection and recycling services for buildings and facilities located on the Fort Bragg military installation. This is a follow-on consolidated requirement for the collection, transportation, recycling and disposal services for an estimated 26,500 tons per year of Municipal Solid Waste and disposal to designated licensed surrounding landfills. Solid Waste Management is a comprehensive approach to managing non-hazardous solid waste that encompasses green procurement, waste prevention, and disposal programs. The waste shall be disposed of at a certified Subtitle "D" Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfill equipped with scales, located in the State of North Carolina and fully permitted approved by the Department of Environmental Management.
